General Motors plans to use ChatGPT software in its cars

“General Motors (GM), one of the largest automobile manufacturers in the world, is reportedly interested in the idea of using AI technology to help in driving. 

The company is said to be considering the use of advanced machine learning algorithms and other forms of artificial intelligence to enhance the driving experience for their customers.

To explore this possibility, GM is reportedly in talks with OpenAI, a leading AI research organization.

OpenAI’s language model, ChatGPT, is one of the most advanced language models available today and could potentially be used to help drivers navigate roads, traffic, and other driving-related challenges.

While this technology is still in the early stages of development, it has the potential to revolutionize the way we drive and interact with our vehicles. 

By using AI to assist in driving, we could see a significant reduction in accidents, improved traffic flow, and a more efficient use of our roads.

As a result of the desire to collaborate more closely with Microsoft, General Motors has expressed interest in using ChatGPT software in their cars. 

Due to the fact that Microsoft also owns most of the Chat GPT software.

When ChatGPT got asked how it could be helpful for the car owners, it answered with the following:

a) I have the ability to help car owners to save money on the fuel that their cars consume by showing them the most feasible and shortest path to their destination that will save them both time and money.

b) By informing the car owners regularly about when to change the oil, when to have the car serviced, when to replace tires, etc., I can help them keep their cars fully maintained.
